In practice, this makes scheduled publications—such as when a page goes live—more reliable. Reports and logs are also clearer and easier to understand.

Planning content has also become easier. There’s a new date and time picker that supports time zones. Editors only see the time zones relevant to them, which is especially helpful for organizations operating internationally.

In 2025, the Umbraco backoffice was reviewed by an accessibility expert. Many of the improvements from that review have been implemented in Umbraco V17, making the backoffice more consistent and predictable.
